Summer Camps

EXPLORING THE IPAD: An ACADEMIC ADVENTURE While the iPad itself is a relatively simplistic device to set-up, manage, and control, using it as an educational tool can be challenging. For students at PVI, the iPad will be a key part of academic success. The iPad will serve as a textbook, notebook, communicator, as well as project creator. In addition to these uses, there are myriad apps, as well as other technological platforms that will be utilized in the classroom. Students will also explore team building skills. In this course, students will not only learn to enhance their technology skills, but they will also receive tactile instruction on the iPad. Mini-lessons on English, Math, Science, and social studies are covered during the week. So, join the adventure and raise your ‘apptitude’ this summer with the exploring the iPad Camp! *This course is designed for students entering 9th grade.
